Starlight Music Academy vocal classes are popular and fun.  We provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment that enables young people to develop and stretch their vocal abilities.  We see young people coming in nervous then becoming full of confidence, within 3-9 months, capable of delivering a performance in front of thousands of people at an open-air park event.

You may have seen the SMA family of artists perform at the Rockingham Youth Festival or at Burgess Park during August 09. Vocal classes take place every Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00pm at 44-46 Offley Road, London, SW9 0LS. 


Classes are free and open to young people between the ages of 13 – 25 year olds. The vocal coach is Isaiah-Raymond Dyer who formed the MOBO award winning group, Raymond & Co.  What this means is SMA is brining the professional world of gospel to the community to give young people the opportunity to work alongside individuals who have achieved great personal success in the field and want to share with others what it really takes to get a taste of success.


Interestingly, SMA is home to five artists who recently won the South London Press Star Search competition and beat off 500 other contestants to be featured on the Star Search compilation CD 2009. Their songs are now available for download from itunes on to mobile phones, radio and computers.  They are amongst the SMA family studio team members who are turning out tune after tune in the studio.
