Starlight Music Academy has recently converted a redundant space in to a fully equipped and functioning music studio training suite that will, for many years to come, provide stimulating workshop sessions, training seminars and much needed free access to music making facilities for children and young who can not otherwise afford to pay to use such facilities.  On occasions, the studio will also be used for fee-paying customers who can afford the charges and want specialist services. 
Starlight primarily works with children and young people and our aim is to instil a sense of achievement and fulfilment through fun and creative learning to help improve educational achievement and to give individuals a sense of accomplishment. 

What practical results will be expected

Our aim is that the space will become a vibrant training studio for young budding producers, vocalists, musicians and filmmakers. The music production training will also give young people the opportunity to develop untapped skills and stimulate learning in music-making technologies which may inspire some to pursue learning experiences in more formal educational sectors.
